Renovating the Digital Space

Suzy Lee (she/her) is a Digital Strategist who comes from a background in art and nonprofit management. Holding an MSc in Human Rights & International Politics from the University of Glasgow, Suzy's research focused on the use of art as a tool for social change. Originally focused on the impact of street art, she moved into creative campaigns within the digital landscape with the growth of social media platforms.

Suzy has worked on campaigns with entities such as Medicins San Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), Google, Love Does, Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, Big Brothers Big Sisters, 20 Million Minds and The AjA Project. Having worked on varying issues such as global health, women's rights, refugee rights, OER (open educational resources), pro-bono medical services and mentorship, she believes that at the intersection of all of these issues are audiences ready to engage.

With a passion for taking back the digital space for social empowerment and global change, she develops strategies aimed at impact. Fighting the current of a digital world that values quantity over quality, speaking over listening and volume over value, the digital world she envisions fosters conversation and listening over sheer visibility, along with metrics that value an information community over the volume of impressions.

Suzy’s skills include, but are not limited to - strategy, graphic design, illustration, painting murals, copywriting, project management, social media management, content production, budgeting, event coordination and public speaking.
